Chiara Shiatsu
Shiatsu & bodywork
Zen shiatsu in Skala — an hour that gives the body its attention back.
Shiatsu on a futon, through clothing, with no oil. I work with steady pressure from palms, thumbs and elbows along the meridians, slowly enough that the body can follow.
We talk for ten minutes first — sleep, digestion, where the tension sits, what you want from the hour. Then you lie down and I start. Nothing is rushed and nothing hurts.
One quiet room a few minutes' walk from the harbour in Skala. Wear something loose; bring nothing, the studio has everything.
“She found exactly where I was holding tension and just stayed there until it let go.”
“Nothing about the hour felt rushed. I left slower than I arrived.”
“First time trying shiatsu — I expected a massage and got something else entirely, in a good way.”
“Booking was a two-line email. The session itself was the easy part.”
